Higher ed for people with disabilities, Justice Dept. stands up for kids right to an education, Marion Harding HS isn’t so into that, drown your sorrows with KYOOTness! It’s Required Reading 5/8/2014

First the good: Rutgers Univ. is working on adding a program for  students with intellectual disabilities. If you want more information on what’s already  out there , you can check in with Think College!, and also try   AHEAD.

Now something to make you feel hopeful but combative: the Justice Department  has reminded public schools that it is illegal to deny children (that’s people up to age 21)  an education based on national origin or immigration status.

Now the crappy:Marion Harding High School Withdrew Struggling Students to manipulate attendance data

Ok- rebound with this:overachieving squirrels, a donkey helping sheep, or maybe a jogging baby  wombat if you only have a few seconds.(Note to self- any of these would make excellent band names)
