SkepchickCon Is (Nearly) Here!

Hi everyone! The wonderful SkepchickCon is happening July 3-6 as part of CONvergence and there’s still time for you to get involved!

You can find out about the event itself and get your tickets at

You can find out about some of the incredible Space Lab events that are taking place during the convention right here.

There are some fantastic auctions to be won, with all proceeds going to support the running of SkepchickCon.

Finally, if you’re going along then you should definitely take part in the terrifying-sounding Quiz-o-Tron!

Remember, School of Doubt only exists because of the Skepchick Network and all the ridiculously hard work that its organisers do behind the scenes. Anything you can do to help, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated.

Alasdair is a high school English teacher in Scotland. He's a passionate skeptic and science fan, which is why he runs a discussion club for young skeptics in his school. He loves space and astronomy more than pretty much anything and is studying for a physics degree in his spare time in order to become qualified to teach science.

He lives with a cat made of distilled hatred and spikes.
